Crucial Steps: Creating Your Facebook Entry Page

Facebook, the world’s largest social networking site, launched in early 2004 and has grown to over 845 million individual users, so knowing How to create a Facebook entry page is vital. While it was once limited to only college students, it is now open to anyone over the age of 13. It’s also a very popular place for business owners to create fan pages and help promote their products or services.

As more and more consumers take to the internet, many businesses have realized that having an online presence is crucial. This is especially true for having an online presence on Facebook in particular. With an estimated 45% of Americans alone having accounts there, using the site as a platform for customer interaction as well as marketing is a huge tool for growing one’s market and business.

While it is relatively easy to set up a fan page or business profile, to truly draw in many users and get the maximum amount of “likes“, the entry pages must be eye-catching. It’s also very important to promote this profile as much as possible. This promotion can be done in the physical business itself.

One of the most important steps when setting up an entry page on it, is to use a vanity URL that matches the company name or some other easily distinguishable and unique name. Take the opportunity during the setup phase to list all the relevant company information, including contact, address, phone number, etc. Then the pages must be promoted through states updates, emails, friend invites, and other forms of promotion.

To get started, the business owner must choose a classification for their profile. These are local business or places. Things like artists, band, or public figure.

It could also include a company, organization, or institution; entertainment; and brand or product. It is very likely that many business pages fall into one of the first three classifications, and by choosing one of the classifications, one’s profile shows up more readily on searches and helps direct consumers to the proper place.

While it is not necessary for a business to have a page there, it is quite certainly a good idea to know How to create a Facebook entry page. With so many millions of subscribers, businesses who do not make their presence on there known are only missing out on a potential source of revenue. For a minimal amount of money, a business can pay to have a dynamic and attractive profile created, or they just do it themselves.

Facebook entry page makes first impression on visitors. It requires to create Facebook fan page for business and then use any Facebook application for Facebook welcome page. For example you can use “Custom FBML” for designed page creation and also set that page as welcome page.
