Multi-level marketing can be tough. The business model is great because once you build your business, you can put it on auto-pilot. It’s just getting to that point that leaves people frustrated who pursue this type of business model. One way to attract many new, targeted leads to your business is by building a website. Once you have a site, then you focus on how to advertise your business with your site, and here’s what you want to do.
There’s a paid way and a free way. Let’s talk about the free way. There are few simple, yet valuable, things you can do to your site to get it ranked well on Google. First, make sure your site is appealing. Now, I’m not talking about aesthetically appealing; I’m talking about appealing in an information sort of way. In other words, does your site provide valuable text on your topic that your visitors will deem valuable?
Once your site has relevant, valuable content, you next want to target some key terms that you want your site to be ranked for. Say you sell men’s shoes, well, “men’s dress shoes” might be one. You get the idea. I would start with three terms. Make sure those terms appear in your title tag, meta tags, and meta description. Also, make sure they appear in bold approximately 3% of the time throughout your home page.
Once that’s done, you need to write articles about your industry, three hundred words minimum, with two backlinks in them. By backlinks I’m referring to taking your targeted key terms, working them into your article naturally, and hyperlinking them back to your site. Finally, you’ll want to submit these articles to sites like ezinearticles.com. Having other sites that contain links pointing back to your site, gives your site recognition by the search engines, and will ultimately lead to a higher ranking of your website on Google.
Implementing this free way to advertise your business is a win-win for you and Google. Google will receive valuable information to offer people using their search engine, and you’ll receive free and traffic in return. There is no other marketing strategy that even comes close to what Google can do for you.
