Hence I am not going to scare you with some over the top SEO techniques. I will really try to keep it simple so that you can understand very basics. In simple terms how does your website or blog rank high or on the first page of the Google? How to construct an article in order to get picked up by Google very quickly?

Let me give few elementary tips so that you can easily learn and implement them.

Quality Content

My friends! There is no escaping from writing good content and a lot of it. There is always saying that Content is King. So you have to create content on daily basis so that you can feed to search engines like Google or Bing. In simple terms content is like a fuel on which search engine runs. Web crawlers in every search engine are always looking for some fresh or new content available on the Internet. If your website can provide quality content on regular basis then that would mean you understood first SEO technique.

Content Designing

Secondly, while creating content you have to design or construct you entire content in a way that search engines quickly notices it. Hence merely writing content in huge quantities is not enough you have to use proper keywords at appropriate places. Hence always try to do some basic research before you sit down to write content. Research should be about keywords on which your website or blog is based upon. Each article on your website must have right keyword density in it.

Quality Backlinks

Moving forward from content creation and designing there is another basic technique to know is Backlinks. They are also called inbound links. It means that all the other websites on the Internet must have links to your website. Hence if there are thousand websites linked to your website then Google search bot will pick up your website rather than someone else website present on the Internet. One more thing you must keep in mind is that backlinks must be of good quality, links from website that do not get high traffic would reduce backlink quality.

Images and Videos

Content does not only mean text or alphabetical characters. SEO goes beyond textual content and it also includes elements like images and videos. Hence your images can be optimized by writing relevant keywords in the Alt tag present in the code behind. Similarly for videos always give full description because search engines looks for these small details. One more element is Tags, tags are mentioned by using keywords related to your website.

Now you are entering into more complicated techniques for SEO. Although content design and Backlinks are enough for any blogger but if you have an understanding of code that runs behind your website then you can always rank on the first page of the Google. So first would be Meta Tags, this is an html tag which gives information about the main keywords used by a particular website. You can always optimize your Meta Tags to get best results. There are lots more things like html code, CSS, Javascript but all these are beyond the scope of a regular blogger.

In concluding remarks I would say quality content with design and quality backlinks are the cornerstone of any SEO technique. It would be enough for you to master these techniques only. However if you want to go beyond then you can try to tune code behind your website.
