Adsense generates money but not much. The most important factor in blogging is knowing what readers seek for, then writing accordingly with topics that interests them and which they find helpful. In that way u can generate more traffic in your blog which gives rise to more page-hits. According to that you can find advertisers or sponsors who would be interested to advertise in your blog.
