How To Tweet About YouTube From Google On Twitter

With the countless social networking sites available for use on the internet today, it is no wonder that people are looking for ways to link their different accounts so that both can be updated at the same time. Businesses do this for advertising reasons. Teenagers do it to keep up with their friends that are scattered around on different sites. This is a simple guide on how to tweet about YouTube from Google on Twitter, three of the internets most renowned businesses.

Step one consists of creating these three latter accounts. Google and Youtube are affiliated with one another, therefore creating an account on the tubing channel will automatically give you a Google account as well. When this is done, one can set up a twitter account by going to their homepage, following the instructions and creating their profile. This is a short process that takes slightly more than five minutes. Skip step one if you already have accounts.

Step two is easy. Enter the You-Tube homepage. At the very top right hand corner of the screen, about the videos and primary advertising screen, you will see a small link that says “Sign In.” Do this. You will sign in using your Google account, which is one and the same thing. Immediately you will be redirected back to the home page.

For step three, simply return to your top right hand corner of the page and click your account name. A tiny white box will drop down, displaying a number of options that include “Channel” and “My Subscriptions.” Select the option called “Account.” You will be taken to a page titled “Account Settings.”

For step four, scan a list of links to the left of the screen that lists a row of tools designed for helping with the upkeep of your account. Click “Activity Sharing.” You will then see a large box with two columns. Look at the one towards the right, under a line of bold text that says, “Where Do I share My Activities? Automatically post my activities to:” and there will be a list of social networking sites like Myspace, Facebook and Reader. Select Twitter.

For the final step, click on the light blue words that spell “Connect Accounts, ” follow the onscreen instructions, and you are now finished. Remember that your accounts are now linked, and whatever you do on one site will be tweeted on your time-line.

If you are unhappy with the way the connection is turning out for you, merely terminated the connection. This can be done in two ways. First, you can go to your Account Settings on YouTube, then Activity Sharing, and click on “Disconnect Accounts, ” under the list on the right side of the box next to your site with which you are linked. Second, you can enter the profile settings under your user-name where you tweet, click on Connections, and revoke access to any connection with whom you may be concerned.
