With a steady increase in popularity, many are beginning to use these programs all over the globe. This social networking site offers its own program and many others are available to create these applications.
One of the first steps in beginning the process is to download and run the developer application. Facebook offers its own program and can be found under the applications tab. It is recommended that a person contemplate refreshing on some of the terminology since it can be bewildering. With abbreviations like FQL, FBML, and API that reference different components of the platform used, they can reference different things.
Next in the process is choosing one of the many applicator programs that decide if it is a gift giving application, quizzes, or other form. This allows you to customize the app with options like how many can be sent and how many to receive before unlocking more selections, as different types may have different limits. After that you just have to select “create new app” and fill out the required forms and follow the instructions provided.
Then, for instance, in creating the gift app, a person generally picks a theme like hearts, flower bouquets, or smiley faces for the gifts to be sent. There are many different options available for customization. With many different options available a set number of choices has not been determined at this time.
All that is left is to invite friends to use the app and enjoy. There is an infinite number as to how many will use the app but with a vast number of users available around the globe, there can be competition.
Depending on the type of app being created, there can be other steps involved. These can include using a web server or other types used in web design. The number of steps or necessary requirements depend on how complicated the app is designed.
With the vast selection in options, it is becoming increasingly easy to create these entertaining and fun apps. Although some require extra steps or other servers and equipment, some are as uncomplicated as setting down to the computer. There is a large selection of material available that suggest step by step instructions and with a persons willingness and time, this can be an entertaining and satisfying adventure.

Hey Kathy .. You are very right but still you need to be technical or programmer to build the facebook application. and If you are not tech savvy then there are companies who are providing custom tab Facebook apps for free or at very low price.
